She is not an Irish policewoman. She is a member of the Police Service of Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland is a part of the United Kingdom; as such she is a UK police officer.

Irish police officers are from the Republic of Ireland (not part of the UK) and belong to the Garda Siochana.
